One of the most rewarding parts of boudoir photography is witnessing the transformation that happens right before my eyes. Women walk into my studio nervous, unsure, and sometimes even questioning why they booked their session in the first place. But by the time they leave? They are radiating confidence, power, and self-love.
This was especially true for one incredible woman who joined me for our Valentine’s mini session. She came in nervous, sharing that she had undergone a double mastectomy. Like so many women, she wasn’t sure how she would feel seeing herself in these images. But she took a deep breath, trusted the process, and gave herself permission to step into her power.
From the moment she slipped into her first outfit, I could see her walls slowly coming down. With every pose, every laugh, and every adjustment, her confidence began to shine through. I captured this entire transformation on video, and I can’t wait for you to see it.
As we moved through the session, something shifted. She started to really let go. Her eyes sparkled, her movements became more fluid, and suddenly, she wasn’t thinking about how she looked—she was feeling it. Feeling beautiful. Feeling empowered. Feeling sexy.
By the time we wrapped up, she was glowing. When she saw the first sneak peeks on the back of my camera, she gasped. Her exact words? “I can’t believe that’s me.” And when she received her final images? She told me she had never felt more confident in her body.
