“I have been watching the Sheer Facebook page for probably a year before I got up the nerve to book my first session. I have struggled with my self esteem, self love and self acceptance my entire life. As I watched the Facebook page & Instagram I saw wonderfully, beautiful plus size women in their photos done by Jen and Brian and I finally said, ‘if they can do it and look that gorgeous, then I can do it too.’
Going into my session I was nervous and excited but Jen and Brian quickly made me feel at ease and I actually “revealed” way more than I ever thought I would because I felt empowered and encouraged too. It was a shock to see myself in the pictures at the photo reveal but as I saw more and more pictures I realized that what I was seeing was what some of the people closest to me have been seeing for years. I found self love and acceptance in those pictures. I found confidence. I found myself. I still have a long way to go to see myself like that everyday but this is definitely a step in the right direction.”
